Frequently Asked Questions
Booking, pricing, warranty and what to expect on the day.
How long does a repair take?+
Most common repairs — screens, batteries, charging ports — are done in about 30 minutes on site. More involved work such as water damage recovery can take longer, and the technician will tell you before starting.
Do I have to pay a deposit?+
No. You pay after the repair is completed, by cash or card terminal. A service call fee applies to the visit itself.
How is the price decided?+
The booking form gives you an indicative price from the repairs you select. The technician inspects the device on arrival and sends you a final quote covering parts, labour and the service fee. Work only starts once you approve it.
What if I reject the quote?+
Nothing further happens and no repair is carried out. You are only liable for the service call fee for the visit.
Do you come to me, or do I come to you?+
Both, depending on your area. A technician can travel to your home or workplace in most postcodes, and some areas also have a drop-off point. Check your postcode on the locations page.
Is my data safe during the repair?+
We do not need your passcode for most repairs. Back up your device before any appointment as a precaution — particularly for water damage or motherboard work, where data loss is a real possibility.
What warranty do I get?+
Replacement parts we fit are covered by our warranty. See the warranty page for what is and is not included.
Which brands do you repair?+
All major brands across phones, tablets, MacBooks and smartwatches — Apple, Samsung, Google, OnePlus, Huawei, Xiaomi and others. If your device is not listed, contact us for a custom quote.
Can I track my repair?+
Yes. You get a booking reference in the form IBR-YYYY-NNNNNN. Enter it on the tracking page to see the current status and the assigned technician.
